The Board of Directors of Ural Locomotives Limited Liability Company (the joint venture company of the Sinara Group and Siemens AG) has appointed Oleg Spai who earlier held position of Deputy Director General, as Director General and Chairman of the Management Board of the company.

Oleg Harlampievich Spai was born in Sverdlovsk in 1962.

In 1985 he graduated from the Ural Polytechnic Institute (presently known as the Ural Federal University) as a machine engineer.

In 2002 he got further education in UGTU-UPI (presently known as the Ural Federal University) specializing in strategic management. He also participated in the Presidential programme for training of management staff for enterprises of the Russian national economy and was added into the employee pool of Sverdlovsk region.

From 1979 to 2008 he worked at FGUP “Ural Plant of Transport Engineering”, where he made his way from a specialist of the Chief Technologist Department to Production Director.

From 2008 he held key positions at machine building enterprises of the Sinara Group.

Since July 2010 he has been appointed as Production Director for Locomotives and Bogies – Deputy Director General of the Ural Locomotives plant.

Aleksandr Saltaev who has been heading Ural Locomotives since July 2010 will continue his work in the Sinara Group.
