Granite (2ES10, 3ES10)

Granite electric freight locomotive fitted with asynchronous traction motors is designed for hauling freight trains on 1,520 mm gauge railways electrified with 3 kV direct current.

Able to haul a train weighing 9,000 tons on sections with a plain track profile (up to 6 0/00) and a train weighing 6,300 tons on sections with mountainous profile (up to 10 0/00).

Booster section was designed to increase the traction properties of 2ES10 electric freight locomotives for the purpose of hauling trains of increased weight on railway sections with a particularly rough track profile.

Electric locomotives are operated on the transport network and regularly undergo warranty and after-sales service.
