Lastochka (ES2G, ES2GP, ES1P)

Lastochka electric train fitted with asynchronous traction motors is designed to transport passengers on 1520 mm gauge railways.
Lastochka electric train is a solution for urban, suburban and inter-regional service. The introduction of the Russian-made microprocessor-based control system, which was integrated into the train for the first time in 2015, made possible to vary the number of cars in the Lastochka trains from 5 to 12 units. At the same time, the traction parameters of the train do not change. Such configuration ensures stable transportation in big cities during rush hours and on busy inter-regional routes.
Depending on the operation territory, electric trains can be upgraded to provide traction with any electrification system (direct current or alternating current).
The company designed and produced higher-speed Lastochka trains of various series: ES2G, ES2GP, ES1P.

Currently, Lastochka trains of various versions transport passengers in 30 regions of Russia and on two international routes: Moscow – Minsk and Sochi – Gagra.
Since the beginning of its commissioning (September 2016), ES2G Lastochka trains have transported 1.2+ billion passengers on the Moscow Central Ring.

Electric trains are operated on the transport network and regularly undergo warranty and after-sales service.

The lightweight structure of car bodies made of extruded aluminum profiles and undercarriage with air suspension ensure energy efficiency and high comfort at any speed.
The application of cutting-edge technical solutions, in particular, asynchronous traction drive, significantly reduced maintenance man-hours and increased repair intervals.
